We reserve the right to vary the length and content of the initial training program based on the experience and skill level of any individual attending the initial training program. We reserve the right to have you train in a store other than our Cincinnati, OH location.
The instructional materials consist of the Brand Standards Manual and other materials, lectures, discussions, and on-the-job demonstration and practice.
Training classes will be led or supervised by Isaac Hamlin, Jess O'Connor and Macy Stiles. Their experience is described in Item 2. Mr. Hamlin and Ms. Stiles each have seven years of experience in our industry, and six years of experience with us or our affiliates. Ms. O'Connor has five years of experience in our industry, and three years of experience with us or our affiliates.
There is no fee for up to four people to attend training. You must pay the travel and living expenses of people attending training.
You and your general manager (or lead Blender) must attend training. You may send any additional people to training that you want (up to the maximum described above). You must complete training to our satisfaction at least four weeks before opening your business.
Your business must at all times be under your on-site supervision or under the on-site supervision of a general manager who has completed our training program, or another supervisor
which you have properly trained. If you need to send a new general manager to our training program, we will charge a fee, which is currently $250 per day. Otherwise, we do not currently require additional training programs or refresher course

Better Blend also provides ongoing support after the business opens, including advice on improving the business and resolving operational problems via telephone or electronic communication. In-person support is available for a fee of $600 per day, plus out-of-pocket expenses. Additionally, Better Blend will provide access to their Brand Standards Manual and assist with employee training during the initial opening support.
