What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards. Specifically, the franchisee is responsible for complying with the most current version of these standards at all times.

This requirement means that a Better Blend franchisee must take necessary steps to ensure that all technology and processes used for handling customer payment card information meet the security protocols established by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council. This includes implementing and maintaining security measures to protect cardholder data from theft and misuse.

Failure to comply with these standards can result in significant financial penalties, legal liabilities, and damage to the Better Blend brand's reputation.
