What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Better Blend Franchise Disclosure Document, Better Blend Franchising, LLC (BBF) determines the reasonable steps a franchisee must take to transfer or delete Brand Accounts. These Brand Accounts include telephone numbers, directory listings, email accounts, websites, social media accounts, and other online advertising and marketing profiles associated with the Better Blend business.

Upon termination or expiration of the Franchise Agreement, or upon notice from BBF, Better Blend has the right to assume ownership of these Brand Accounts. The franchisee authorizes the service provider of each Brand Account to transfer or delete the account based on written instructions from BBF. Better Blend also holds an irrevocable limited power of attorney to direct any provider to transfer or delete a Brand Account.

While the franchisee loses all rights to the Brand Account after the transfer or deletion, they remain responsible for any outstanding fees owed to the provider up to the date the transfer or deletion takes effect. Better Blend assumes no responsibility for obligations arising before the transfer or deletion. This ensures Better Blend maintains control over its brand's online presence and marketing assets, while the franchisee is responsible for settling any existing financial obligations related to those accounts.
