What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the definition of 'Digital Marketing' explicitly includes mobile applications. This means that any marketing efforts utilizing mobile apps fall under the umbrella of digital marketing as defined by Better Blend.
For a prospective franchisee, this is important because Better Blend maintains control over digital marketing strategies. Franchisees are required to obtain prior written consent from Better Blend before engaging in any digital marketing activities. If Better Blend permits a franchisee to conduct digital marketing, the franchisee must adhere to Better Blend's system standards and use only approved materials.
Furthermore, Better Blend has the right to access or take ownership of all digital marketing assets related to the Better Blend business, including login details and passwords. Better Blend can also withdraw its approval for any digital marketing at any time. This level of control allows Better Blend to maintain brand consistency and ensure that all digital marketing efforts align with their overall strategy.
