What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Better Blend has a 30-day window to either approve or disapprove a potential site for a new franchise location. This 30-day period starts once the franchisee has submitted all required documents and information about the proposed site to Better Blend.

This timeline is important for prospective franchisees because it sets expectations for how long the site selection process will take. If Better Blend and the franchisee cannot agree on a site, the franchisee may not be able to meet the deadlines outlined in the franchise agreement for opening the new location. Failure to meet these deadlines could result in the franchisee being in default, potentially leading to the termination of the franchise agreement, unless Better Blend agrees to extend the deadline.

Better Blend evaluates several factors when considering a site for approval, including the general location and neighborhood, competition, trade area demographics, traffic patterns, parking availability, the size and physical characteristics of existing buildings, and the lease terms. Franchisees should consider these factors when searching for potential locations to increase the likelihood of approval by Better Blend.

Prospective franchisees should ensure they gather and submit all required documentation promptly to start the 30-day review period. Understanding the site approval criteria and the potential consequences of not securing an approved location within the given timeframe is crucial for managing expectations and mitigating risks associated with opening a Better Blend franchise.
