What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Better Blend offers assistance in training employees as part of their opening support. However, the franchisee is ultimately responsible for all hiring decisions and employment conditions.

Better Blend's initial training program is held at their offices and business location in Cincinnati, Ohio, and they anticipate holding training classes two to four times per year. The training classes will be led or supervised by Isaac Hamlin, Jess O'Connor and Macy Stiles. Up to four people can attend the training program without a fee, but the franchisee is responsible for covering their travel and living expenses. The franchisee and their general manager (or lead Blender) are required to attend the training, and the franchisee must complete the training to Better Blend's satisfaction at least four weeks before opening their business.

Better Blend also provides access to their Brand Standards Manual, which serves as instructional material alongside lectures, discussions, and on-the-job demonstrations. If a new general manager needs to attend the training program, Better Blend charges a fee of $250 per day. While Better Blend doesn't currently require additional training programs or refresher courses, they retain the right to implement them in the future. After the initial training, the business must be supervised on-site by the franchisee or a trained general manager.
