What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee needs to send a notice to Better Blend, it should be addressed to 345 W. 4th Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202.
The FDD specifies the methods by which these notices must be delivered to be considered effective. Franchisees must deliver notices personally, send them via registered or certified U.S. mail with return receipt requested, or use an overnight courier service. The date the notice is considered 'given' depends on the delivery method: it's effective upon receipt, the first rejection of receipt, three business days after mailing if sent via registered or certified mail, or the next business day after mailing if sent via overnight courier.
Better Blend retains the right to deliver certain types of notices, such as amendments to the manual, changes to system standards, and default notices, via electronic mail or other electronic communication. In these specific instances, notice is considered effective to the franchisee upon delivery of the electronic communication. Franchisees should be aware of these stipulations to ensure they adhere to the proper notification protocols outlined in the Franchise Agreement.
