From when does the 30-day period start for Better Blend to respond to an alternate input request?

- 8.3 Alternate Input Approval. If BBF requires Franchisee to purchase a particular Input, and Franchisee desires to purchase an alternate to the Input, then Franchisee must submit a written request for approval and any information, specifications and/or samples requested by BBF. BBF may approve or disapprove the alternative Input in its sole discretion. BBF shall provide Franchisee with written notification of the approval or disapproval of any proposed alternate Input within 30 days after receipt of Franchisee's request.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Better Blend's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Better Blend requires a franchisee to purchase a particular input, and the franchisee wants to purchase an alternate input, the franchisee must submit a written request for approval along with any information, specifications, and/or samples requested by Better Blend. Better Blend has the discretion to approve or disapprove the alternate input.
Better Blend will then provide the franchisee with written notification of the approval or disapproval of the proposed alternate input. This notification must be provided within 30 days after Better Blend receives the franchisee's request.
In essence, the 30-day clock for Better Blend's response begins ticking the moment Better Blend receives the franchisee's complete request for an alternate input, including all required documentation and samples.
