What is the minimum weight per dozen for Best Western bath towels?

According to Best Western's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the minimum weight per dozen for bath towels in a room with one or two beds is 12.0 lbs. The bath terry should be constructed with a minimum of 86% natural fiber, such as cotton or bamboo, with Ring Spun fiber preferred. A dobby border is also preferred.

For rooms with one bed, the minimum size for each of the two bath towels is 25" x 52". For rooms with two beds, the minimum size for each of the three bath towels is also 25" x 52". The FDD specifies that these measurements are to be taken on new products before any shrinkage occurs.

Best Western also specifies minimum weights per dozen for hand towels and face cloths. Hand towels (two in a one-bed room, three in a two-bed room) must be a minimum size of 16" x 27" and weigh at least 3.0 lbs per dozen. Face cloths (two in a one-bed room, three in a two-bed room) must be a minimum size of 12" x 12" and weigh at least 1.0 lbs per dozen.
