What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Best Western's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, properties participating in the "Low Rate, Guaranteed! Program" may incur charges for Best Western Travel Cards issued to customers who find a lower rate on another distribution channel. Specifically, Best Western will not charge a property for the first three Best Western Travel Cards issued under this program in each fiscal year.
However, for each of the next five Best Western Travel Cards issued after those initial three, the property will be charged $75 per card. After those first eight cards, the charge increases to $100 for all subsequent Best Western Travel Cards issued during the fiscal year.
It's important to note that properties participating in Best Western's Property Revenue Management Program are exempt from these charges. Additionally, the Best Western Board of Directors retains the right to terminate the Low Rate, Guaranteed! Program at any time without prior notice, which could eliminate this potential expense.
