What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Best Brains' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is generally prohibited from subletting any part of their business premises without prior written consent from Best Brains. However, there is an exception to this rule.

The FDD states that franchisee subletting is allowed without Best Brains' consent if the lease is assigned or sublet to another Best Brains franchisee. This means a franchisee can transfer their lease to another existing franchisee without needing additional approval from Best Brains.

This provision offers flexibility for Best Brains franchisees, as it streamlines the process of transferring a location to another franchisee within the system. It avoids potential delays or complications that could arise from seeking franchisor consent, facilitating smoother transitions between franchisees.
