What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Best Brains Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchise Agreement is modified in California to defer collection of initial fees. Specifically, Best Brains defers collecting these fees until after they have completed their initial obligations to the franchisee and the franchise is open for business.

This modification is outlined in the California Addendum to the Franchise Agreement. This addendum specifies that if any terms of the standard Franchise Agreement are inconsistent with the terms in the addendum, the addendum's terms will take precedence.

For a prospective Best Brains franchisee in California, this deferral of initial fees could be a significant benefit. It allows the franchisee to delay payment until the business is operational, potentially easing the initial financial burden and cash flow challenges often associated with starting a new franchise. This could make the Best Brains franchise opportunity more accessible to individuals who might otherwise be unable to afford the upfront costs.
