What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Best Brains' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is generally prohibited from subletting their business premises without prior written consent from Best Brains. This requirement ensures that the use of the premises remains consistent with the brand's standards and operational guidelines.

However, there is an exception to this rule. A Best Brains franchisee is permitted to sublet or assign their lease to another Best Brains franchisee without needing to obtain consent from Best Brains. This provision facilitates the transfer of a franchise to a new owner within the Best Brains system, streamlining the process and avoiding potential delays or complications associated with seeking franchisor approval.

This condition benefits both the franchisee and Best Brains by allowing for smoother transitions between franchisees while maintaining brand consistency and operational standards. Prospective franchisees should be aware of these conditions regarding subletting, as they provide flexibility in certain circumstances but also impose restrictions to protect the integrity of the Best Brains brand.
