What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Best Brains' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, while Best Brains may require franchisees to participate in refresher training, there is currently no fee charged for the training itself. However, the franchisee is responsible for covering their own expenses related to transportation, lodging, and other costs associated with attending the refresher training. Best Brains can require up to five days per calendar year of refresher training. The training location can be chosen by Best Brains or may be electronic.

This policy means that while the training is provided without a direct fee, franchisees must still budget for the indirect costs of attending. These costs can vary significantly depending on the location of the training and the franchisee's travel arrangements. It is important for prospective franchisees to factor in these potential expenses when evaluating the overall cost of operating a Best Brains franchise.

It is also worth noting that Best Brains retains the right to change its fee structure in the future, as stated in Item 23. While currently no fee is charged, this could change, and franchisees would need to adapt to any new policies regarding refresher training fees. Franchisees should inquire about the typical location and format of refresher courses to estimate potential travel costs.
