SERVICES**
The Goods or Services Required to be Purchased or Leased
Advertising Material.
You must either use advertising templates which we make available or specify or obtain our approval before placing any advertising.
Computer Hardware and Software.
You must purchase the computer hardware and software that we specify.
Furniture, Fixtures, Equipment, Inventory, Center Décor, and Signs.
You must purchase furniture, fixtures, equipment, inventory, center décor, and signs pursuant to our specifications or prior written approval.
You must purchase certain inventory, equipment, and center décor from us.
Instructional Material.
You are required to purchase Abacuses and Student Worksheets, Merchandise, and Instructional Materials solely from us.
Insurance.
You must purchase insurance in the types and amounts of coverage that we specify and we reserve the right to specify designated broker(s) or insurance carrier(s). At present, we require franchisees to purchase the following minimum insurance requirements:

- Commercial general liability insurance policy, including products liability, combined single limit for bodily injury and property damage liability in the minimum amount of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Best Brains' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to specific system standards when presenting goods and services. Best Brains requires franchisees to use advertising templates provided by the company or obtain approval before placing any advertising. Franchisees must also purchase the computer hardware and software that Best Brains specifies.
Furthermore, franchisees are obligated to purchase furniture, fixtures, equipment, inventory, center décor, and signs according to Best Brains' specifications or with prior written approval. Certain inventory, equipment, and center décor must be purchased directly from Best Brains. Additionally, franchisees are required to buy Abacuses, Student Worksheets, Merchandise, and Instructional Materials exclusively from Best Brains.
Best Brains also mandates that franchisees purchase insurance coverage in the types and amounts specified by the company, reserving the right to dictate the design of insurance policies. Franchisees are permitted and required to use the Best Brains' Marks to identify their Franchised Business, while also identifying themselves as the independent owner. The Marks must be displayed prominently and in the manner prescribed by Best Brains in connection with signs, posters, displays, service contracts, stationery, and other designated forms.
