What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Best Brains' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees have access to corporate-provided social media and can post according to Best Brains' guidelines. However, Best Brains retains master rights over these social media accounts. This means that Best Brains can change or edit a franchisee's posts. Franchisees must also follow Best Brains' guidelines for any digital chat communication tools they use.

This level of control is common in franchising, as franchisors need to maintain brand consistency and protect their reputation. By retaining master rights, Best Brains can ensure that all social media content aligns with its brand standards and marketing strategies. This also allows Best Brains to quickly address any potentially damaging or non-compliant posts.

For a prospective franchisee, this means they will have some autonomy in managing their social media presence, but they must adhere to Best Brains' guidelines and understand that the franchisor has the final say. It would be prudent for a potential franchisee to review the social media guidelines carefully to understand what types of content are permitted and what restrictions exist.
