What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Best Brains' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Best Brains retains specific rights to ensure franchise compliance. Best Brains has the right to interview both personnel and customers at a franchised location. This is part of Best Brains' broader authority to examine the operations and facilities of the franchise.
Best Brains' rights extend to entering the franchised business to examine operations and facilities, including testing, sampling, inspecting, and observing the services and products sold. This allows Best Brains to ascertain whether the franchisee is complying with the franchise agreement. The franchisee has an affirmative duty to cooperate with Best Brains during these inspections and provide any reasonably requested assistance.
Furthermore, Best Brains can observe, photograph, and record business operations for periods they deem necessary. These measures enable Best Brains to maintain quality control and ensure that franchisees adhere to the brand's standards and procedures. This level of oversight is typical in franchising, allowing the franchisor to protect its brand and ensure consistency across all locations.
