According to Best Brains' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Best Brains offers pre-opening assistance to franchisees. Specifically, Best Brains will provide on-the-job supervision and assistance at the franchisee's business premises for approximately three days around the time of the franchise's opening. This support is intended to help the franchisee during the critical initial phase of launching their Best Brains learning center.

In addition to on-site support, Best Brains also provides an initial training program that franchisees must complete before starting their business. This training lasts for fourteen days and covers the operation of a Best Brains franchise. If a franchisee purchases a Premium Learning Center, they must pay a $3,500 initial training fee. The training is conducted at one of Best Brains' learning centers in the Chicagoland area, typically in the weeks leading up to the center's opening.

Best Brains also offers support in site selection, agreeing to use reasonable efforts to review and approve the franchisee's chosen location. The FDD specifies that Best Brains will evaluate the site within thirty days of receiving the necessary information, considering factors such as demographics, traffic patterns, visibility, and competition. Franchisees must obtain Best Brains' approval of both the site location and the lease agreement. Furthermore, franchisees are required to spend a minimum of $14,000 on local advertising and promotion before opening their Franchised Business, following an opening marketing plan approved by Best Brains.
