Before the start of your Franchised Business, we will provide fourteen days of initial training on the operation of a Franchised Business to you. If you purchase a Premium Learning Center, you must pay us a $3,500 initial training fee. You must pay for all travel and living expenses which you incur in connection with training. You must pass the training program to our satisfaction.
We expect that training will be conducted for you and your employee at one of the BEST BRAINS learning centers in the Chicagoland area in the weeks preceding the opening of your learning center approximately one to ten weeks after you sign your Franchise Agreement. We plan to be flexible in scheduling training to accommodate our personnel, you and your personnel. There currently are no fixed (i.e., monthly or bimonthly) training schedules. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Best Brains Franchise Disclosure Document, Best Brains provides an initial training program that consists of 14 days of training before the franchisee starts their franchised business. If a franchisee purchases a Premium Learning Center, they must pay Best Brains a $3,500 initial training fee. The franchisee is responsible for covering all travel and living expenses incurred during the training. To successfully complete the training, the franchisee must meet Best Brains' satisfaction.

The training is provided by Dorothy Pieta, who has been an On-Site Trainer since October 2022. She has also worked as a curriculum staff member and Center Director since April 2012, and has served as a Center Director/Owner for her own franchised Best Brains in Palatine, IL since April 2016. The Operations Manual serves as the primary instructional manual during the training. In addition to the initial training, Best Brains provides pre-opening and opening on-the-job supervision and assistance at the franchisee's business premises for about three days around the time of the opening.
