What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Best Brains' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the geographic scope of the search area allowed under the Option Agreement is determined by an 'agreed upon Search Area'.

Best Brains may offer current franchisees the option to expand if they possess the necessary resources and capabilities. This opportunity involves entering into an Option Agreement, detailed in Exhibit D of the FDD. For a payment of $2,500, Best Brains grants the franchisee 90 days to find a location within a Search Area that is agreed upon by both parties.

If the franchisee successfully secures a location and enters into a Franchise Agreement, the $2,500 payment is credited towards the franchise fee. However, if no location is secured within the 90-day period, the $2,500 is nonrefundable. The specific details of the Search Area are not pre-defined in the FDD but are determined on a case-by-case basis between Best Brains and the franchisee.
