What is the geographic scope of a Best Brains franchise?

According to the 2025 Best Brains Franchise Disclosure Document, Best Brains franchises learning centers both in and out of the United States. The FDD specifies that Best Brains, Inc. was established to conduct a franchise business, franchising learning centers under the "Best Brains" trade name. The franchise offered is for the right to operate a Best Brains learning center using the Marks and the System at a specific location.

Best Brains has also expanded internationally. As of December 31, 2024, Best Brains had 2 franchised outlets in Australia, which began in August 2020 through Best Brains of Australia (PTY) LTD. In Canada, there were 42 franchised outlets, which began in August 2018 through Best Brains of Canada, Inc. India had 0 franchised outlets, which began in January 2020 through Best Brains Education Academy Limited Private.

The Franchise Agreement also contains restrictions related to competition. During the term of the agreement, franchisees cannot offer similar services except under another Best Brains franchise agreement. If the agreement is terminated or expires, the franchisee cannot offer similar services within 25 miles of their former location or any Best Brains location for two years. Franchisees are also prohibited from soliciting business from any customer of the Franchised Business within the same geographic area for a two-year period after termination or expiration of the agreement.
