If the Lease expires or is terminated for any reason, the Franchisor may, upon prior written notice to Landlord, enter the Premises and remove any signs or other articles bearing any trade names, logos, trade-marks that are part of the System and de-identify the leased Premises as a Best Brains business (including, without limitation, removing any Best Brains trade dress features and/or fixtures), without legal process and without being guilty of trespass.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Best Brains Franchise Disclosure Document, if a lease expires or is terminated for any reason, Best Brains has the right to enter the premises, after providing written notice to the landlord, and remove specific items.

Specifically, Best Brains may remove any signs or other articles that display trade names, logos, or trademarks that are part of the Best Brains system. Additionally, Best Brains is permitted to de-identify the leased premises as a Best Brains business. This includes removing any Best Brains trade dress features and/or fixtures.

This provision allows Best Brains to protect its brand identity and ensure that a former location does not continue to represent itself as a Best Brains center after the lease has ended. This is a fairly standard clause in franchise agreements, as franchisors need to maintain consistent branding and prevent confusion among customers.
