What factors might Best Brains consider when judging whether to approve a proposed relocation?
Best_Brains Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
If you want to relocate, you must notify us in writing 60 days before the relocation. We reserve the right to refuse to approve a proposed relocation if we believe that the proposed relocation is for any reason not acceptable to us. Our judgment may be based on factors such as the proximity to existing or proposed locations owned by other franchisees or us, the suitability of the proposed facilities, compliance with our then current franchise location requirements, the competitiveness within the market place or other factors.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Best Brains FDD, if a franchisee wishes to relocate their learning center, they must provide written notification to Best Brains 60 days before the planned relocation. Best Brains retains the right to deny approval for the relocation if they find it unacceptable for any reason.
Best Brains' judgment in assessing a relocation request may include factors such as the proximity of the proposed location to existing or planned Best Brains centers (whether owned by other franchisees or by Best Brains itself). They will also consider the suitability of the proposed facilities, ensuring they meet the then-current franchise location requirements.
Additionally, Best Brains will evaluate the competitive landscape of the marketplace and other pertinent factors to determine if the relocation is in the best interest of the franchise system. This broad discretion allows Best Brains to maintain strategic oversight of its brand and market presence, but it also means franchisees need to carefully justify their relocation plans to gain approval.
