What factors does Best Brains consider when evaluating the suitability of the proposed facilities for a Best Brains relocation?
Best_Brains Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
If you want to relocate, you must notify us in writing 60 days before the relocation. We reserve the right to refuse to approve a proposed relocation if we believe that the proposed relocation is for any reason not acceptable to us. Our judgment may be based on factors such as the proximity to existing or proposed locations owned by other franchisees or us, the suitability of the proposed facilities, compliance with our then current franchise location requirements, the competitiveness within the market place or other factors.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Best Brains' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee wants to relocate their Best Brains center, they must provide written notice 60 days before the intended relocation. Best Brains reserves the right to disapprove the relocation if it deems the new location unacceptable for any reason.
Best Brains' judgment in assessing a relocation site may be based on several factors. These include the proximity of the proposed location to existing or planned Best Brains centers (either franchisee-owned or company-owned), the suitability of the facilities themselves, and whether the new location meets Best Brains' then-current franchise location requirements.
Additionally, Best Brains may consider the competitiveness of the marketplace and other factors it deems relevant. It is important to note that the FDD specifies that Best Brains' decision is discretionary, meaning they have significant latitude in determining whether to approve a relocation. This highlights the importance of franchisees communicating closely with Best Brains and providing comprehensive information to support their relocation request.
