What is the consequence if a Best Brains franchisee does not notify Best Brains in writing 60 days before relocation?
Best_Brains Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
If you want to relocate, you must notify us in writing 60 days before the relocation. We reserve the right to refuse to approve a proposed relocation if we believe that the proposed relocation is for any reason not acceptable to us. Our judgment may be based on factors such as the proximity to existing or proposed locations owned by other franchisees or us, the suitability of the proposed facilities, compliance with our then current franchise location requirements, the competitiveness within the market place or other factors.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Best Brains' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must notify Best Brains in writing 60 days before relocating their franchise. Best Brains reserves the right to refuse to approve a proposed relocation if they believe it is unacceptable.
Best Brains' judgment in approving or disapproving a relocation may be based on factors such as the proximity to existing or proposed locations owned by other franchisees or Best Brains, the suitability of the proposed facilities, compliance with Best Brains' then-current franchise location requirements, the competitiveness within the marketplace, or other factors.
While the FDD states that Best Brains reserves the right to refuse a relocation if the franchisee does provide the required 60-day notice, it does not explicitly state the consequences if a franchisee fails to provide this notice. A prospective franchisee should clarify with Best Brains what the repercussions are for failing to provide the required 60-day written notice before relocation.
