What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Best Brains Franchise Disclosure Document, if the lease expires or is terminated for any reason, Best Brains has the right to enter the premises. Prior to entering, Best Brains must provide written notice to the landlord. Once Best Brains enters the premises, they can remove any signs or other articles bearing any trade names, logos, or trademarks that are part of the Best Brains system.
Best Brains can also de-identify the leased premises as a Best Brains business. This includes removing any Best Brains trade dress features and/or fixtures. Best Brains can perform these actions without legal process and without being guilty of trespass.
This clause protects Best Brains' brand identity and ensures that a former franchise location does not continue to operate or appear as a Best Brains center after the lease has expired or been terminated. This prevents potential confusion among customers and maintains the integrity of the Best Brains brand.
