What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Bens Soft Pretzels Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee may not offer catering and delivery services unless Bens Soft Pretzels authorizes it in writing. To offer these services, a franchisee must obtain prior written approval from Bens Soft Pretzels and adhere to their written standards.

Any income derived from catering or delivery services must be included in the franchisee's Gross Sales for the purpose of calculating Royalty and Advertising Fund Fees. This means that Bens Soft Pretzels will collect a percentage of the revenue generated from these services.

This policy ensures that Bens Soft Pretzels maintains control over the quality and standards of its brand, even when services are extended beyond the physical store location. It also allows Bens Soft Pretzels to benefit financially from any additional revenue streams franchisees generate through catering and delivery services.
