Will Bens Soft Pretzels provide a written or electronic copy of the Manual, or only electronic access?

According to Bens Soft Pretzels' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, prior to opening their store, franchisees will be provided with either a written or electronic copy of the manual, or electronic access to the manual. The manual serves as the principal instructional guide for operating a Bens Soft Pretzels franchise.

The Bens Soft Pretzels manual is considered confidential and remains the sole property of the franchisor. The franchisor may revise the contents of the manual, and franchisees must comply with each new or changed standard.

The manual consists of 121 pages, and Exhibit E of the FDD includes the table of contents for the manual. The table of contents covers topics such as the history of Bens Soft Pretzels, franchisee support resources, pre-opening timetable and obligations, franchisee training requirements, staffing, image and decor standards, restaurant operations and maintenance, equipment, administration, marketing, sales and pricing, insurance, and vehicle administration.
