What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bens Soft Pretzels's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees may be required to participate in refresher training. Bens Soft Pretzels can require franchisees to attend up to five days per calendar year of refresher training related to the operations and marketing of their store.
This refresher training might be held at an annual convention or business meeting, which franchisees can also be required to attend once per year. Franchisees are responsible for covering their own travel and living expenses for any additional training programs or meetings.
Bens Soft Pretzels will not charge franchisees and managers to attend regularly scheduled refresher training courses. However, Bens Soft Pretzels may charge a fee to attend (and for your employees to attend) regional meetings or conventions that they deem necessary. In this event, the franchisee must pay all expenses for themselves and their employees, including travel and living expenses.
