What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Belocal's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training program is provided at no additional charge to the franchisee. However, the franchisee is responsible for covering all other costs associated with the training. These costs may include expenses like transportation, lodging, meals, wages, and other travel-related expenses. Belocal retains the right to deliver the training in various formats, such as in-person, virtually, or through other electronic methods.

If Belocal requires the franchisee to attend additional or remedial training, or if the franchisee requests such training, the attendees may have to pay Belocal's current rate for the extra training. This could also include tuition or attendance fees charged by third-party providers. The franchisee remains responsible for all costs linked to this additional training, including transportation, lodging, other travel-related costs, and wages.

For a Belocal franchisee, this means that while the core initial training is free of tuition costs, they should budget for travel and living expenses during the training period. Furthermore, franchisees should be aware that any required or requested additional training will likely incur fees, in addition to the associated travel costs. According to the FDD, the additional training fee will not exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1,000) per day, plus travel-related expenses the Franchisee incurs.
