What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Belocal's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company specifies the due date for transfer damages. If a franchisee does not comply with the transfer terms under the Franchise Agreement, they must pay transfer damages. These damages are the greater of 15% of the transfer price or $25,000. Belocal requires that the franchisee pay the transfer damages within 15 days of demand.
