What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Belocal's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Belocal may require franchisees to periodically attend additional training programs and seminars. These programs and seminars can be conducted at locations Belocal designates, virtually, or by third parties. Belocal has the sole discretion to make additional training available upon a franchisee's request but is not obligated to do so.
Belocal and third parties have the right to charge a reasonable fee for these additional training programs and seminars, with fees based on Belocal's costs or the fees charged by the third parties. The duration of these additional training programs will vary depending on the subject matter and content of the programs. Franchisees are responsible for all expenses incurred in any training program or seminar, including travel, lodging, meals, and wages.
For a prospective Belocal franchisee, this means that while the initial franchise training is provided, there is a possibility of incurring additional costs for further training. These costs can include fees for the training itself, as well as travel and accommodation expenses. It is important to factor in these potential ongoing training expenses when evaluating the overall cost of investing in a Belocal franchise.
