What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Belocal's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Belocal does not provide or deliver all of the items a franchisee needs for operations, except for the software described in the FDD. The franchisee is responsible for acquiring all other necessary items.
Belocal does provide a list of approved or designated suppliers and written specifications for required or recommended goods and services. This is a common practice in franchising, allowing the franchisee to source necessary items while adhering to brand standards.
Prospective franchisees should carefully consider the costs associated with acquiring all necessary items for operating the Belocal franchise, as these costs are the franchisee's responsibility. This includes computer hardware, software (beyond what Belocal provides), internet access, and office supplies. Belocal estimates the cost to acquire computer hardware and internet access to be between $0 and $2,650, with annual maintenance costs between $0 and $500.
