The Principal or operations manager named in Attachment E hereto must personally supervise and devote full-time attention to the dayto-day operations and management of the Franchised Business.
Franchisee must obtain Franchisor's approval to use an operations manager and must obtain Franchisor's acceptance of the specific person serving as the operations manager.
As applicable, the Principal must complete any training that Franchisor requires and execute the form of confidentiality, non-competition, and non-solicitation agreements that Franchisor requires.
The operations manager must complete any training that Franchisor requires, pass a background check, and execute the form of confidentiality and non-solicitation agreements that Franchisor requires.
Franchisee shall give Franchisor advance written notice of any change to its designated operations manager.
Franchisee, through its Principal and/or operations manager, must diligently promote the sale of, and stimulate interest in, advertising in the Publication that Franchisee manages, however Franchisee must not agree, represent, or warrant to any advertiser that such advertiser will have any exclusive advertising rights and/or protection from competing advertisers.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Belocal's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, either the Principal or an operations manager must personally supervise and devote full-time attention to the day-to-day operations and management of the franchised business. If a franchisee chooses to use an operations manager, they must obtain Belocal's approval and acceptance of the specific person serving in that role.
The Principal, and/or the operations manager, must actively promote the sale of advertising in the Belocal publication that the franchisee manages and stimulate interest in it. However, the franchisee cannot guarantee any advertiser exclusive advertising rights or protection from competitors.
Both the Principal and any operations manager are required to complete any training that Belocal requires. The operations manager must also pass a background check and execute confidentiality and non-solicitation agreements. The franchisee must provide Belocal with advance written notice of any change to the designated operations manager.
