What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Belocal's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Belocal is not required to develop or acquire software programs for franchisees. However, Belocal may choose to make software available to franchisees for a fee. This software, whether developed by Belocal, its affiliates, or a designated third party, is intended to assist with client relationship management, sales order and commission management, and Publication production management.

This means that as a Belocal franchisee, you might have the option to use software provided by Belocal to help manage your business operations. However, Belocal is not obligated to provide this software, and if they do, it may come at an additional cost. The FDD specifies that the software, if offered, is designed to aid in areas such as managing client relationships, sales orders, commissions, and publication production.

As a prospective franchisee, it would be prudent to inquire about the availability and cost of this software. Understanding whether Belocal currently offers such software, the fees associated with it, and the specific functionalities it provides will help you assess the potential benefits and costs of integrating it into your business operations. Additionally, it would be beneficial to understand Belocal's future plans regarding software development or acquisition, as this could impact the tools available to franchisees in the long term.
