will receive more than one referral fee for referrals made to franchisees living in or operating a Franchised Business in Washington.

According to Belocal's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the maximum number of referral fees that will be paid to franchisees living in or operating a Franchised Business within the state of Washington is one. Furthermore, no franchisee, regardless of location, will receive more than one referral fee for referrals made to franchisees living in or operating a Franchised Business in Washington.

Belocal offers a referral fee program where franchisees can earn $10,000 for introducing a new prospective franchisee to Belocal under certain conditions. These conditions include the approval of the new prospect, the signing of a Franchise Agreement within 6 months of the referral, payment of the full initial franchise fee, timely commencement of business operations, the initial publication going to print, and the new franchisee earning at least $3,000 in qualified commissions within 12 months of starting operations. The new franchisee must also be in good standing under their franchise agreement.

This referral fee is specifically for new prospects managing a new publication or acquiring rights to manage a Bridge Publication and is not applicable for transfers of existing Franchised Businesses. To receive the referral fee, the referring franchisee must be in full compliance with all Franchise Agreements with Belocal or its affiliates. Belocal retains the right to terminate, cancel, or modify the referral program at any time, and the program is subject to all state and local laws and regulations.
