What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Belocal's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Listings that a franchisee must assign to Belocal include telephone numbers, telephone directory listings, email addresses, and Online Presences used in connection with the operation of the franchised business. This assignment becomes relevant if the Franchise Agreement terminates or expires.
Specifically, the Listings encompass those telephone numbers and regular, classified, or other telephone directory listings used by the franchisee, including personal cellphone numbers. It also includes all email addresses that use Belocal's Marks or are used by the franchisee in connection with operating the Franchised Business.
Furthermore, the definition extends to any Online Presence (as defined in the Franchise Agreement) that uses Belocal's Marks, is used by the franchisee in connection with the business, or that the franchisee has been permitted by Belocal to create. Finally, it includes all rights, title, and interest in the content of any Online Presence, whether existing now or adopted by the franchisee in the future. This broad definition ensures that Belocal retains control over the brand's presence and customer communication channels after a franchise agreement ends.
