What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Belocal's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Belocal provides a franchisee with email addresses containing the name or part of the name of any N2 publication or any of Belocal's marks, the franchisee must use these email addresses when conducting their franchised business. This usage must also align with the directions provided in the Franchise Brand Standards Manual.
This requirement ensures that all communications related to the Belocal franchise maintain a consistent and professional brand identity. It prevents franchisees from using personal or non-approved email addresses for franchise-related activities, which could dilute the brand or create confusion among customers and partners. The Franchise Brand Standards Manual likely contains specific guidelines on how these email addresses should be used in various business contexts.
Furthermore, the FDD stipulates that franchisees must not use these designated email addresses for personal matters or any business activities not directly connected to the Belocal franchise. This restriction is in place to maintain the integrity of the Belocal brand and to prevent any misuse of the company's resources or reputation. Franchisees must adhere strictly to these guidelines to avoid potential breaches of the franchise agreement.
In summary, Belocal franchisees must use the provided email addresses containing N2 publication names or Belocal marks exclusively for conducting their franchised business, following the instructions in the Franchise Brand Standards Manual, and refraining from using them for any personal or unrelated business activities. This policy helps maintain brand consistency and prevents misuse of company resources.
