What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Belocal's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee can operate the Belocal business from any facility, including their home. However, the franchisee's office must be located within a 50-mile radius of the perimeter of their assigned territory.
This requirement ensures that the franchisee is close enough to effectively manage and serve their territory. It allows for easier travel within the territory for sales, networking, and community engagement, which are crucial for Belocal's business model.
Belocal may grant a variance to this 50-mile radius requirement, but this is not guaranteed. A prospective franchisee should discuss any potential need for a variance with Belocal during the due diligence process to ensure it aligns with their operational plans. Belocal does not provide any assistance in helping the franchisee locate an office, and the franchisee is solely responsible for ensuring the facility complies with all local requirements.
