What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Belocal's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee can operate the Franchised Business from their home. The document states that the franchisee may operate the business from any facility they choose, including their home.

However, the franchisee's office must be located within a 50-mile radius of the perimeter of their territory, unless Belocal grants a variance. Belocal does not assist the franchisee in locating an office, and the franchisee is solely responsible for ensuring the facility meets all local requirements.

This flexibility to operate from home can significantly reduce overhead costs for a new Belocal franchisee, as it eliminates the need to rent or purchase commercial office space. However, franchisees must still ensure they have the appropriate technology and infrastructure to run the business effectively from a home office, and they must comply with all local regulations.
