What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Belocal's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Lead Generation Fee is subject to change and updates can be found in the Franchise Brand Standards Manual. The Lead Generation Fee is incurred if a franchisee enrolls in Belocal's lead generation program, where Belocal or its affiliate provides lead generation services.

The amount of the Lead Generation Fee varies based on the tier of service selected. Currently, the fee is $200 per month for Tier 1, $375 per month for Tier 2, and $550 per month for Tier 3. These fees are paid monthly as incurred. The FDD also notes Belocal's ability to change certain flat fees, including the Lead Generation Fees.

Belocal also has the right to adjust the amount of any flat fee (meaning a fee that is a flat dollar amount) to account for inflation. Up to one time per calendar year, Belocal has the right to increase each flat fee by an amount up to the yearly cost-of-living adjustment ("COLA") percentage identified by the United States Social Security Administration or similar metric of inflation they deem reliable (such as the Consumer Price Index (U.S. Average, all items) maintained by the United States Department of Labor). There is also a cap on the total increase to this fee during the term of the Franchise Agreement.
