What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Belocal's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, updates to the Adjustment Fee and Missed Deadline Fee can be found in the Franchise Brand Standards Manual. The current Adjustment Fee is $1,000, and the maximum fee that Belocal may charge is $1,500 per occurrence. The current Missed Deadline Fee is also $1,000.

Belocal may adjust any flat fee to account for inflation, up to one time per calendar year. The increase will be up to the yearly cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) percentage identified by the United States Social Security Administration or a similar metric of inflation. For example, if the COLA adjustment for 2027 were 3%, Belocal could raise each flat fee by up to 3% on a single occasion in 2027.

Belocal will provide notice to franchisees regarding fee increases. However, the total increase of each fee during the term of the Franchise Agreement will not be more than 25% of the fee currently identified in Item 6 of the FDD. This means that the Adjustment Fee and Missed Deadline Fee cannot increase by more than $250 (25% of $1,000) during the term of the agreement.
