What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Belocal's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchise Brand Standards Manual outlines the company's policies, procedures, and guidelines related to cross-selling.

Specifically, the FDD mentions that if a franchisee sells print advertising for a publication that falls under the responsibility of another franchisee, the selling franchisee may be eligible to receive Belocal's then-current Outgoing Cross-Selling Fee. However, this is contingent upon the franchisee's compliance with Belocal's policies, procedures, and guidelines related to cross-selling, as detailed in the Franchise Brand Standards Manual.

Belocal retains the right to terminate a franchisee's ability to cross-sell or even terminate the Franchise Agreement itself if the franchisee fails to adhere to the cross-selling policies, procedures, and guidelines. This underscores the importance of franchisees understanding and following the guidelines set forth in the Franchise Brand Standards Manual to maintain their cross-selling privileges and overall franchise agreement.
