Beggars_Pizza Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
LOCATION AND NUMBER OF TERMINALS: The on-premises implemented software may be used only at the Customer's location as specified in the Quote, and only on the number of terminals which is equal to the number of SpeedLine Solutions software user licenses received by the Customer or, in the case of certain of the software programs, only on one (1) of the Customer's terminals, as specified in the Quote.
No change of the location or increase to the number of terminals may be made without the prior written consent of SpeedLine.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the on-premises software can only be used at the location specified in the Quote. The software can only be used on the number of terminals equal to the number of SpeedLine Solutions software user licenses the customer receives. However, certain software programs can only be used on one of the customer's terminals, as specified in the Quote.
To change the location or increase the number of terminals, the franchisee must first obtain prior written consent from SpeedLine. This requirement ensures that Beggars Pizza maintains control over the software's usage and implementation, which helps to protect the integrity and consistency of its operations across all franchise locations.
This restriction is typical in franchising, as franchisors need to ensure consistent technology standards and prevent unauthorized use of their proprietary software. A prospective Beggars Pizza franchisee should discuss with the franchisor the process and criteria for obtaining approval to use the software at a different location or on additional terminals, especially if they anticipate needing flexibility in the future.
