Under what conditions will Beggars Pizza provide advice and assistance on the implementation of the System and operation of the Restaurant?

After the Restaurant opens, we will provide the following to you:

- On your reasonable request, in our sole discretion, we will make available to you advice and assistance on the proper implementation of the System and operation of the Restaurant (Franchise Agreement, Section 3.4);
At your request, we will provide advice and assistance on the proper implementation of the System and the operations of the Restaurant. We may impose our then-current fee for these services. We currently charge $75/hour or $550/day.
Before the Restaurant opens, we must provide the following to you:

- If you do not have an approved location before signing your Franchise Agreement, you will sign the site selection addendum (the "Site Selection Addendum") attached to the Franchise Agreement as Exhibit B, and we will provide you with such site selection guidelines and consultation as we deem advisable (Franchise Agreement, Exhibit B, Paragraph 5);

- If you do not have an approved location before signing your Franchise Agreement, you will sign a Site Selection Addendum, we will provide such on-site evaluations as we deem advisable as part of our evaluation of your request for site approval. We will not provide on-site evaluations for any proposed site before our receipt of the information or materials required by your Franchise Agreement. If an on-site evaluation is deemed necessary and appropriate by us, we will conduct up to two on-site evaluations at our expense. For each additional on-site evaluation, you must reimburse us for our related expenses, including the costs of travel, lodging, and meals (Franchise Agreement, Exhibit B, Paragraph 5);

- We will make available to you (a) a preliminary layout for the site for the Restaurant based on our standard plans for your adaptation including exterior and interior design and layout, and (b) specifications for furni

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, after the restaurant opens, Beggars Pizza will provide advice and assistance on the proper implementation of the System and operation of the Restaurant on a franchisee's reasonable request, and at Beggars Pizza's sole discretion.
Beggars Pizza also offers additional training courses, seminars, and other training programs that franchisees, their managers, and other employees must attend if reasonably required by Beggars Pizza from time to time. At a franchisee's request, Beggars Pizza will provide advice and assistance on the proper implementation of the System and the operations of the Restaurant, but may impose its then-current fee for these services. Currently, this fee is $75/hour or $550/day.
Prior to the Restaurant opening, Beggars Pizza outlines several pre-opening obligations where they will provide assistance. This includes providing site selection guidelines and consultation if the franchisee does not have an approved location before signing the Franchise Agreement. Beggars Pizza will also provide on-site evaluations as deemed advisable, with the company covering the costs for up to two evaluations. Additional evaluations will be at the franchisee's expense, covering travel, lodging, and meals. Furthermore, Beggars Pizza will offer a preliminary layout for the restaurant site based on standard plans, including exterior and interior design and layout, along with specifications for furniture.
