such assistance as they may reasonably request; and, upon notice from Franchisor or its agents, and without limiting Franchisor's other rights under the Agreement, must take such steps as may be necessary to correct immediately any deficiencies detected during any such inspection. Should Franchisee, for any reason, fail to correct such deficiencies within a reasonable time as determined by Franchisor, Franchisor will have the right, but not the obligation, to correct any deficiencies which may be susceptible to correction by Franchisor and to charge Franchisee a reasonable fee for Franchisor's expenses in so acting, payable to Franchisor upon demand. The foregoing will be in addition to such other remedies Franchisor may have.

  • 7.11 Advertising Materials. Franchisee must ensure that all advertising and promotional materials, signs, decorations, and other items specified by Franchisor bear the Proprietary Marks in the form, color, location, and manner prescribed by Franchisor.
  • 7.12 Maintenance of Premises. Franchisee must maintain the Premises (including the adjacent public areas) in a clean, orderly condition and in excellent repair; and, in connection therewith, Franchisee must, at its expense, make such additions, alterations, repairs and replacements thereto (but no others without Franchisor's prior written consent) as may be required for that purpose including, without limitation, such periodic repainting or replacement of obsolete signs, furnishings, equipment, and décor as Franchisor may reasonably direct.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

Based on the 2025 Beggars Pizza Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee must maintain the premises in a clean and orderly condition and in excellent repair. This includes making necessary additions, alterations, repairs, and replacements at the franchisee's expense. These can include periodic repainting or replacement of obsolete signs, furnishings, equipment, and décor as Beggars Pizza may reasonably direct.

If the franchisee fails to correct deficiencies within a reasonable time, Beggars Pizza has the right, but not the obligation, to correct any deficiencies and charge the franchisee a reasonable fee for their expenses. This is in addition to any other remedies Beggars Pizza may have.

At Beggars Pizza's request, but no more than once every five years (unless required sooner by the lease), the franchisee must refurbish the premises at their expense. This refurbishment should conform to the building design, trade dress, color schemes, and presentation of the Proprietary Marks, consistent with the current image for new Beggars Pizza restaurants. This may include structural changes, remodeling, redecoration, and modifications to existing improvements.
