If you do not have an approved location before signing your Franchise Agreement, you will sign a Site Selection Addendum, we will provide such on-site evaluations as we deem advisable as part of our evaluation of your request for site approval. We will not provide on-site evaluations for any proposed site before our receipt of the information or materials required by your Franchise Agreement. What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if you sign a Site Selection Addendum, Beggars Pizza will conduct up to two on-site evaluations of potential locations at their own expense. However, you, as the franchisee, are responsible for reimbursing Beggars Pizza for any expenses related to additional on-site evaluations beyond the initial two.

These reimbursable expenses specifically include the costs of travel, lodging, and meals incurred by Beggars Pizza during these additional evaluations. This means that if Beggars Pizza deems it necessary to conduct more than two on-site evaluations of potential locations for your franchise, you will need to cover the costs associated with their representatives visiting and assessing those sites.

This policy has significant implications for prospective franchisees. It highlights the importance of thorough initial site selection to minimize the need for multiple evaluations. Franchisees should carefully consider potential locations and provide Beggars Pizza with comprehensive information to facilitate efficient and effective evaluations. Failure to do so could result in unexpected expenses for additional site visits. It is also important to note that the FDD does not specify the potential cost of travel, lodging, and meals, so a prospective franchisee should discuss these potential costs with Beggars Pizza.
