What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if you sign a Site Selection Addendum because you do not have an approved location before signing the Franchise Agreement, Beggars Pizza will provide on-site evaluations as part of their evaluation of your site approval request. Beggars Pizza will not conduct on-site evaluations until they receive all required information and materials as specified in the Franchise Agreement.

Beggars Pizza will conduct up to two on-site evaluations at their own expense. However, if additional on-site evaluations are deemed necessary, you, as the franchisee, are responsible for reimbursing Beggars Pizza for their related expenses. These reimbursable expenses include the costs of travel, lodging, and meals incurred by Beggars Pizza during these additional site evaluations.

This means that while Beggars Pizza covers the initial costs of evaluating potential locations, franchisees need to be prepared to cover expenses for any evaluations beyond the first two. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as it ensures the franchisor can provide adequate support during site selection while managing their own costs. Franchisees should carefully consider potential site options and provide thorough information to Beggars Pizza to minimize the need for additional, costly evaluations.
