download a copy of the SpeedLine Pay App onto Customer's or End Users' mobile telephone or handheld devices ("Devices"); and (ii) Customer may copy or authorize copying of the SpeedLine Pay App where such copying is incidental to normal use of the SpeedLine Pay App, or where necessary for backup purposes. Customer agrees to keep accurate and up-to-date records of the number and End Users of all copies of the SpeedLine Pay App. Customer will be assumed to have obtained any necessary permission from the owners of any Devices that are not owned by Customer to download a copy of the SpeedLine Pay App onto the Devices. Upon any End User no longer requiring the SpeedLine Pay App as part of the End User's duties for Customer or any End User ceasing to be employed by Customer, Customer agrees to ensure that the SpeedLine Pay App is immediately deleted or removed from the End User's Device. As between SpeedLine and Customer, Customer accepts responsibility for use of the SpeedLine Pay App in relation to any Device, whether or not the Device is owned by Customer.
Customer and/or its End User is responsible at their cost to: (i) provide all Devices and any other equipment or systems necessary to use the SpeedLine Pay App, (ii) meet the operating system and other system requirements for the SpeedLine Pay App; and (iii) obtain Internet access and pay all telecommunications charges for use of the SpeedLine Pay App. Customer and its End Users are required to comply with all technology control or export laws and regulations that apply to the technology used or supported by the SpeedLine Pay App.
Customer understands that electronic communication is necessary for Customer's use of the SpeedLine Pay App.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, Beggars Pizza franchisees are granted a limited license regarding the SpeedLine Pay App. Specifically, franchisees can download the SpeedLine Pay App onto customers' or end users' mobile devices.
The Beggars Pizza franchisee may copy or authorize copying of the SpeedLine Pay App if it is incidental to normal use or necessary for backup purposes. The franchisee must maintain accurate records of the number and end users of all copies of the SpeedLine Pay App. The franchisee is responsible for obtaining necessary permission from the owners of any devices not owned by the franchisee to download the app.
Upon an end user no longer requiring the SpeedLine Pay App or ceasing employment, the franchisee must ensure the app is immediately deleted from the user's device. The franchisee accepts responsibility for the app's use on any device, regardless of ownership. Upon termination of the agreement, all rights to use the app cease, and the franchisee must delete all copies and certify they have done so to SpeedLine.
