What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Beggars Pizza's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, SpeedLine's designated supply facilities are located in Abbotsford, British Columbia, and Lynden, Washington. This information is relevant to franchisees because they are responsible for the cost of shipping, handling, and insurance for equipment supplied by SpeedLine. The shipping terms are F.O.B. (Free on Board) from either of these locations.

This means that once SpeedLine delivers the equipment to a common carrier at either Abbotsford or Lynden, the risk of loss or damage transfers to the Beggars Pizza franchisee. The franchisee is also responsible for all applicable taxes, duties, and other governmental fees related to the sale of equipment and services, based on the location of SpeedLine's supply facility.

Therefore, a Beggars Pizza franchisee should factor in shipping costs, insurance, and potential taxes from either Abbotsford or Lynden when budgeting for equipment purchases from SpeedLine. Understanding these shipping terms and facility locations is crucial for managing costs and ensuring a smooth equipment procurement process.
